July session of Camp NaNoWriMo begins!

Yesterday was the first day of the July session of Camp NaNoWriMo.  My NaNo friends and I held our own little mini-kickoff at IHOP, and although they had varying levels of productivity, I was not productive at all -- at least not on my novel.

I am currently plowing through a list of client work as long as my arm, but once that is done I intend to get back to work on my NaNo '13 novel, just as I did in April.  I had intended to finish it by now, but I have been too busy and that just wasn't possible.  I am hoping to be able to finish it this month, though.

I currently have my word count goal for the month set at 10,000, but I may raise that.  My intention is to continue working on revisions and the timeline for the novel, as I had been doing in April, and to give myself 1k "words" for every hour I put into that task.  That will likely put me way above 10k fairly quickly, but it seems more fair than just doing 1k every day that I work on it, as I did in April -- whether I worked on it for four hours, or half an hour.

Once I come to the end of revisions -- which, hopefully, I will during the month -- I will start counting real words as I continue writing, and hopefully finish the novel entirely.

Is anyone else doing Camp NaNo this month?
